iL DESTINO
Il Destino is the coming together of two renowned singers; International Tenor and platinum selling recording artist Jon Christos and the award winning celebrated west end/broadway star Adam Lacey. They first met whilst individually performing for The Inspiration Awards at London’s Cadogan Hall in 2012 where they became friends and have been working together ever since. Over the last two years their new and critically acclaimed shows have taken them across the UK and Europe as well as USA where they have also performed at a variety of prestigious events.
With their combined love of Opera, Musical Theatre, Classical Crossover, Pop and Swing hits as well as songs from The Silver Screen they decided to create a duo that showcases these genres but in a unique and special way. Individually, their two voices have their own exceptional qualities but when they come together despite the contrast of their two tones you hear but one voice. Add to this to their stunning harmonies, their innovative approach to their material, their infectious personalities and the variety of styles and genres on offer then it is hardly surprising they are in such demand all over the world leading themselves to all kinds of venues from the splendour of theatre stages to onboard cruise ships alongside more intimate venues
